The following released with WhatsUp Gold Service Pack 3 (17.0.3).
WhatsUp Gold Features
- Implemented the ability to select either blue or green to indicate an Up status.
- Enhanced the following features applicable to dashboard reports:
- All reports. Implemented persistence in dashboard reports.
Please note, if you are upgrading from Service Pack 2 to Service Pack 3, you could experience issues with user-defined performance report settings persisting after upgrading. Applicable settings may revert to their default values and you will need to reconfigure these settings. - All reports. Implemented auto refresh for dashboard reports.
- CPU Utilization. Implemented the ability to select a specific CPU.
- Disk Utilization. Implemented the ability to select a specific disk.
- Disk Free Space. Implemented the ability to select a specific disk.
- Interface Utilization. Implemented the ability to select one or more specific interfaces.
- Interface Traffic. Implemented the ability to select one or more specific interfaces.
- Interface Errors. Implemented the ability to select one or more specific interfaces.
- Interface Discards. Implemented the ability to select one or more specific interfaces.
- Memory Utilization. Implemented the ability to select one or more specific memory aspects.
- Ping Response Time. Implemented the ability to select one or more specific interfaces.
- Disk Utilization Report. Modified so "Size" and "Free space" columns can be filtered only by bytes.
- All reports. Implemented persistence in dashboard reports.
Known Issues
- There is a known issue with exporting report data from WhatsUp Gold to PDF which could potentially cause a timeout error.
- There is a known issue which may cause reports to revert from their user-defined configuration to their default settings upon export from WhatsUp Gold and/or time out altogether when exporting to PDF format, specifically. To avoid this issue, use the dashboard version of the report you wish to export in its expanded view for export to retain current settings. Please note, this issue does not apply to reports found under the Inventory menu or to reports found on dashboard views. Ipswitch is currently evaluating additional tools which work in concert with our new platform to provide more reliable export functionality.
- There is a known issue with editing the custom map where custom connectivity links are not saved when switching between map views. To avoid this issue, reload the browser displaying the custom map view you wish to edit prior to adding connectivity links. Doing so loads the necessary tools to ensure custom links are saved. This issue will be fixed in the next release.
