Vacation Message for IMail User

Note: Vacation Message can handle all foreign characters for display in the Web Admin.

You can create a vacation message for each email user account. When the vacation message is enabled, IMail Server sends an automated vacation message to each email address the user receives mail from. The vacation message is stored in the vacation.ima file in the user's IMail Server home directory.

To create a vacation message:

Select Enable Vacation.
In the Vacation Message text box, enter the reply message you want to send while the user is away. The vacation message is sent one time to each email address from whom the recipient receives mail. IMail Server saves the message sender's email address in a file (vacation.snt). This file provides the user with a list of users that sent email while away and also keeps track of the senders so the vacation message is only sent one time to each sender.
Click Save.
