Creating an Email Alias

Getting to Adding an Email Alias
- Click the tab.
- In the Domains list, select a domain. The appear.
- In the left navigation bar, click . The page appears.
- Click . The Add List page appears.
Enter , choose, then click
Standard Alias Information:
- Displays the name of the new alias. Aliases are limited to 45 characters and must be created from the character set of A-Z, a-z, 0-9, - (hyphen) and _ (underscore). The name cannot contain spaces and must be unique for the mail domain .
- Displays the alias type.
- Place one complete mail address per line (no spaces). Enter an email address on each line (for example, userid@domain.com ).
If you enter more than four email addresses, the standard alias is converted to a group alias.
Select Group File:
- Displays the name for the new alias. Aliases are limited to 45 characters and must be created from the character set of A-Z, a-z, 0-9, - (hyphen) and _ (underscore). The name cannot contain spaces and must be unique for the mail domain.
- Displays the alias type.
- Click to add an email address to the group alias.
- Select an email address to remove from the group alias, then click .
- . Enter an email address to the group alias list.
Enter Program Information:
- Displays the name for the new alias. Aliases are limited to 45 characters and must be created from the character set of A-Z, a-z, 0-9, - (hyphen) and _ (underscore). The name cannot contain spaces and must be unique for the mail domain.
- Displays the alias type.
- . Enter the program path, filename, and other required command line parameters to be executed when the program alias receives mail. When an email is sent to the program alias, the executable program is invoked and the entire contents of the message are passed to the program to take specified actions on the email.
Enter Beeper Information:
- Alias Name. Enter the name for the new alias. Aliases are limited to 45 characters and must be created from the character set of A-Z, a-z, 0-9, - (hyphen) and _ (underscore). The name cannot contain spaces and must be unique for the mail domain.
- Type. Displays the alias type.
- Phone Number. Enter the phone number to dial, including the area code.
- Numeric. Enter a numeric code if required.
- COM Port . Select the device's COM port.
- Baud Rate. Select the device's baud rate .
- Email Address. Enter an email address if you want to send a copy of the message to another address.
Enter Pager Information:
- Enter the name for the new alias. Aliases are limited to 45 characters and must be created from the character set of A-Z, a-z, 0-9, - (hyphen) and _ (underscore). The name cannot contain spaces and must be unique for the mail domain.
- Displays the alias type.
- Enter the phone number to dial, including the area code.
- Enter the password for the pager, if required.
- Enter the pager ID.
- Enter the maximum number of characters for a message.
- Select the correct number of data bits, parity bits, stop bits for Step the device. The TAP protocol uses 7, E, 1.
- Select the protocol. This is determined by the paging service provided you use. TAP is typical for U.S. paging systems, NTT is primarily used for Japanese paging systems, and UCP-SMS is typical for European SMS paging systems.
- Select the modem's COM port.
- Select the speed that the serial port will communicate with the modem.
- Enter an email address if you want to send a copy of the message to another address.
