Adding an Inbound Rule Condition
How to get here
- From the home page, click the > tab.
- In the list, select a domain. The page appears.
- In the navigation pane, click . The page appears.
- Click on . The page appears.
- Click on . The page appears.
Use this dialog to create a rule filter.
- or. The current domain name used to address mail to the users on the mail domain is displayed. For example, company.com is the domain name in the address john.public@company.com.
- Select the message field that you want to filter: , , , , , or
- Select to have the delivery rule filter messages that contain the search text. Select to have the delivery rule filter messages that do not contain the search text.
- Enter search text or specify an external file that contains the text you want to search. Enter the search text by doing one or more of the following:
- Enter the literal text that you want to search for. For example, if you want to find the word "jazz", enter: jazz
- Type search expressions and quantifiers as shown in text patterns.
- Paste a portion of a mail message that meets your search criteria. For example, you could copy and paste text such as "XMSMailPriority(High)" from the header of a message; this would search for High priority messages.
- Select to search for text that matches the case of the search text. To ignore the text case, clear
- Click to save changes.
- Click to exit without saving changes.
