Adding an Email Notification

EMail Settings

• Enable Email Notification. Click to enable the email notification to occur when a monitored device fails.
• Email Address. Enter an email address that is acceptable to the local mail server for the person(s) who want to be notified..
• Gateway. Enter the IP address of a host running SMTP.
• From Address. Enter the address from which the notification will be sent. The default is "WhatsUp" <whatsup@%s>
• Save. Click the to save your settings. An "Update Successful" message and the time of the update appear.
