Install the Ipswitch Analytics Server and Agent

In both of the following cases, after you complete the server installation, you upload a licence. Select the Base Analytics License.

• If you do not have a previous installation of Ipswitch Analytics:
  • Follow instructions in Install Ipswitch Analytics for the First Time. Install the server, upload a Base license, reset the agent access user password, and install the agent..

    During the agent installation, when you are prompted to choose the agent type, select Exchange Server.

• If you have a version of Ipswitch Analytics prior to Ipswitch Analytics 2.1:
  • Update your server installation and upload a Base license for Ipswitch Analytics 2.1.
  • Install a new Ipswitch Analytics agent to use for Exchange. (Agents prior to 2.1 do not include Exchange support).
