Updating Agents in Legacy Failover Environments

Use this procedure if you are using Legacy Failover.

Note: If you are using Ipswitch Failover (Failover Manager), these instructions do not apply. For more information, see Ipswitch Failover 9.0.

To upgrade Analytics Agents when using Legacy Failover:

1. Shut down the Analytics Agent service on the server machines that host the primary and secondary instances of MOVEit Automation.
2. Upgrade the Analytics Agent on the primary instance of MOVEit Automation. For more information, see Upgrade the Analytics Agent.
3. Upgrade the Analytics Agent on the secondary instance of MOVEit Automation. For more information, see Upgrade the Analytics Agent.
