Save System Log to Disk |
Selected (default) MOVEit Automation writes its log file to disk. The scrolling display on the Log tab of MOVEit Automation Admin is not affected by this setting. |
System Log filename |
Default name: Default location is the same folder where MOVEit Automation is installed. You can change the system log filename. Attempting to change the location using this field will result in the loss of data. |
Maximum System Log File size |
Default is 10 MB. When the log file reaches the maximum size, it is automatically rolled. Old log files are retained for one generation as |
Enable Task Logs |
Selected (default) MOVEit Automation generates the task logs while tasks are running. |
Task Log Directory |
The directory location where task logging entries are saved. If no location is specified, the default location is used. Note: Log paths use only absolute paths and cannot contain any environment variables. The Task Log Directory name cannot contain unicode characters. The folder name must only contain ANSI characters. |
