A Resource Group defines a collection of tasks, hosts, scripts, and keys and certs.
Note: All of the tasks that are listed on the TASKS page are included in the group. Before you create a group, use the filters to choose the tasks to include.
Optionally, you can now add a User Group to a Resource Group, or in the Add User Group dialog box click Cancel to deny access to the Resource Group by any User Group.
Note: User Groups are defined outside of MOVEit Automation as either Domain User Groups or Local Window Users Groups.
Tip: Assigned members are resources explicitly added to the resource group.
Referenced members are resources that are associated with the task in the resource group. In each tab, referenced members that are associated with the tasks in the group are listed in dimmed font. For example, if a task has a source or destination that uses a specific host, the host is a referenced member. Referenced members provide read-only access to task elements.
To promote a referenced member to an assigned member, click .
