Add User Groups

Through the Groups and Permissions component you can establish the permissions for user groups that are added to resource groups. These permissions allow the users in the group to perform predefined activities.

  1. Click the Resource Group more options icon MICEN95_icon_Import and select Add User Groups.
  2. In the Add User Group dialog box, select the User Group Type (local or domain) from the drop-down list.
  3. Enter the user group name in the Search Group name field or scroll through the list.
  4. Select the group or groups that you want to add to the resource group and click Done.

Note: User Groups are defined outside of MOVEit Automation as either Domain User Groups or Local Window Users Groups.
