To access these settings: Select SYSTEM > Settings. On the Logging line, click Edit.

System Log Level  | 
Specifies how much debug information is logged to disk. If no task filter is set, appears in the Log. Options: (listed here from low to high amounts of information) All debug, Internal errors, Task/File errors, Task/file warnings, Task completions, File Completions Some Debug, More Debug, All Debug  | 
Save System Log to Disk  | 
Selected (default) MOVEit Automation writes its log file to disk. The scrolling display on the Log tab of MOVEit Automation Admin is not affected by this setting.  | 
System Log Filename  | 
Default name:  Default location is the folder where MOVEit Automation is installed. You can change the system log filename but not the location.  | 
Maximum System Log File size  | 
Default is 10 MB. When the log file reaches the maximum size, it is automatically rolled. Old log files are retained for one generation as   | 
Enable Task Logs  | 
Selected (default) MOVEit Automation generates the task logs while tasks are running.  | 
Task Log Directory  | 
The directory location where task logging entries are saved. If no location is specified, the default location is used. 
 Note: Log paths use only absolute paths and cannot contain any environment variables.  |
