Access Control
MOVEit Central uses Windows authentication to control access to its configuration.
MOVEit Central installs the following groups by default:
- MOVEit Admin. The administrators group. Users who belong to this group have full access to MOVEit Central features.
- MOVEit Log. A read-only group. Users who belong to this group can monitor MOVEit Central
Remote Users
Requirements for remote users to be able to sign in to MOVEit Central:
- The user is a local Windows user or a user in the domain (including Active Directory)
- The user is a member of the MOVEit Admin, MOVEit Log or any of the MOVEit-User groups
- The correct password is provided for the user
