The MOVEit mobile app lets you securely transfer large files and large numbers of files, using your mobile device to connect to your organization's MOVEit server.
MOVEit offers both email-style and folder-based transfers. Depending on your organization and your permissions, you might have access to one of these or both methods. (This help describes both.)
Packages
With Packages, you can send and receive packages (attached files and a note), and access all of your MOVEit mailboxes.
You can:
Quickly access newly received packages in the filtered New packages list, and open attachments on your device (if a supporting application is available).
Send a new package to contacts (and email addresses) with files attached from your device. (Files can be photos that you select or take on the spot. Files can be from MOVEit folders if you also have the Files functionality.)
Access all of your MOVEit mailboxes (including inbox, sent, drafts, templates, and trash) and perform actions there.
Files
With Files, you can upload and open files, and access your MOVEit folders.
You can:
Quickly access newly uploaded files in the filtered New files list, and open files on your device (if a supporting application is available).
Upload a new file from your device to a MOVEit folder. (Files can be photos that you select or take on the spot.)
Access your MOVEit folders, open files, and delete files. If you also have the Packages functionality, send a file to an email recipient.
Other features
You can:
See when new items have arrived. The Menu screen displays the number of newly arrived packages, files, and notices that you have not accessed.
Use Notices to view the latest organization announcements from your MOVEit administrator. These are the same brief messages all users see on the MOVEit full desktop interface's home page (for example, about upcoming outages).
Use (Settings) on the Menu screen to make configuration changes. Some changes affect your MOVEit account as a whole, from wherever you access it. Other settings apply to the mobile app only.
Send or upload files from other apps on your device. (This is how you can send or upload non-picture files from iOS devices.)
