Depending on your device and permissions, you can add files or images from this device. You can also take a picture to upload without leaving MOVEit.
Upload files within the Folders feature. You first go to a destination folder on the MOVEit server, then click an Upload button, and then proceed to select the files to upload.
The Upload button, which is only displayed for those folders you have permissions for, lets you to select a file on this device and upload it to the MOVEit folder.
To upload files:
Tap Files.
Tap Folders.
Navigate to a MOVEit folder.
Tap the Upload button.
Tap Upload local file, Upload existing photo, or Take a picture.
As applicable, select a file or image, or snap a photo and tap Use or Save.
Note: Add file is only available on Android devices.
To upload a local file:
Tapping Upload local file opens the Choose file screen, which displays local folders, if available and as applicable.
Tap folders to navigate to the first folder you want. Checkboxes are to the left of files.
Tap one or more files to select them.
Optionally navigate to another folder and select additional files.
Tap the Upload button.
Note: Within each folder, tap Parent Folder to navigate to the parent (containing) folder.
To add an image:
Tapping Upload existing photo opens this device's Photos app, such as "Camera Roll", "Gallery", or equivalent.
As needed, tap folders to navigate to specific photos.
Tap a picture to select it. You are returned to the Folders screen, where the image is added to the list of files in that folder.
Tap Cancel to return back to the Folders screen without adding a file.
To take a picture:
Tapping Take a picture opens this device's Camera app (still photos only).
Snap the photo. (Cancel the photo to return to the Folders screen without adding a photo.)
In the Preview screen or equivalent, save the photo to upload it (or retake or cancel).
You are returned to the Folders screen, where the photo is added to the list of files in that folder.
