Edit Your Upload/Download Wizard Settings

To view or change the Upload/Download Wizard status, click My Account in the top banner. Locate the Edit Your Upload/Download Wizard Settings... section.

There are two versions of the Wizard: ActiveX and Java. The ActiveX version is available only to users of Internet Explorer. The Java version is available only if Java 6 or later is installed on your computer.

Click Change Upload/Download Wizard Status for the desired version (ActiveX or Java). Separate but similar configuration pages display for the ActiveX and Java Wizards.

Wizard Not Installed

If the Wizard is not installed on the current browser, you'll see a link to a page where the Wizard can be installed.

Wizard Already Installed

If the Wizard is already installed and enabled, you'll see the following options:

• Disable the Wizard: Disables use of the Wizard for all future sessions. You can still enable the Wizard by going to My Account and clicking the Change Upload/Download Wizard Status link.
• Disable the Wizard (for this session only): Disables the Wizard for this session only. You will be asked at the beginning of the next session whether you want to enable the Wizard or not.
• Configure the Wizard: Displays a dialog that lets you edit the default download actions for each type of file. The Wizard allows you to specify that all files with a given extension be saved to a temporary directory and immediately opened, OR saved to a user-specified directory with no further action taken. The Configure the Wizard option allows you to later change your mind regarding what actions should be taken for different file extensions.

  Note: The Configure the Java Wizard option also gives the option of configuring proxy settings. The ActiveX Wizard gets its proxy settings directly from Internet Explorer.
