Settings

The Settings page lets you:

• Set a passive port range for FTP connections

  The default range is 3000-3004, the same as the MOVEit Transfer default. The Passive Port Range does not need to be the same as MOVEit Transfer's but it's probably best for consistency. The number of ports allowed should not exceed the number allowed by MOVEit Transfer.

  If Ipswitch Gateway is installed in the cloud, the operating system returns a strictly local IP address as the server's address, and the cloud provider advertises a different public IP address that is not directly known by the operating system. When adding an FTP proxy, if you enter a passive IP address within this passive port range, the Ipswitch Gateway FTP server will instead return the passive IP address you specify.

  Note: A passive port range limits the number of concurrent transfers.

  Note: You may be warned that any running FTP proxies will be restarted when changing the port range.

• Update the Key Store and Trust Store passwords with an autogenerated password

  Press Reset Passwords and confirm.
