Step 2: Upgrade Client-Side SSTP Tunnel on a MOVEit Transfer Server

1. Reboot the MOVEit Transfer machine.
2. After reboot, sign in with administrator credentials.
3. Go to the Customer Portal and download the installer for Ipswitch Gateway for MOVEit Transfer.
4. Open the Ipswitch Gateway installer.
5. Step 2: Install a client side SSTP Tunnel on your existing MOVEit Transfer server is preselected. Click Next.
6. Select Reinstall Ipswitch Gateway client connection. Click Next.
7. System Check: The installer verifies the certificate and that you have Administrator Privileges.

   Click Next.

8. Options: Gateway Server Address. Enter the Gateway Server Address or hostname to establish a connection.

   Important: What you enter here must be identical to what you entered for IP address or hostname in Step 1: Options: Gateway Configuration Interface > System-generated self-signed certificate > Certificate Name.

   Click Next.

9. Options: SSTP Tunnel Credentials: Enter the SSTP Tunnel Credentials that you specified during initial installation. This account runs the SSTP tunnel.

   Note: If the Gateway Server computer requires a domain name during connection, enter Domainname\GatewayVPNUser instead of GatewayVPNUser

   Click Next.

10. Options: Scheduled Task Context Account: Enter the credentials for an existing local Windows account. This account will be used to initiate and monitor the SSTP tunnel. This user will be used as a context user by the scheduled task that will start and monitor the Gateway Tunnel Connection.
11. Ready to Install: Verify the installation/upgrade setup, and then click Install.

    After a few moments, installation completes.

12. Click Finish.
