Server Requirements (Hardware)

These requirements apply to the hardware platform where you install MOVEit Transfer.

Server Hardware Requirements

• 2GB RAM.
• 250GB or larger storage.
• Many-core processor.

Typical Server Hardware Guidelines

Production systems benefit from additional resources, including:

• Fast multicore processors (single or dual quad-core processors are common).
• 4GB memory.
• Hard drive capacity of 1TB (SAS) is common.
• SSL accelerator hardware.

NOTE: MOVEit Transfer requires a dedicated server or virtual machine. Do not install MOVEit Transfer on a machine that has other applications installed.
