Maximum User Count defines the maximum user counts for the organization.
SysAdmins can perform this task. Organization admins are notified on their home page when the number of users is within 10% of the configured maximum
To access these settings:
To change the maximum user count for an organization
In the left pane, click ORGS. The Organizations page opens. In the Security Information section, on the Maximum User Count line, click Change Setting.
Make selections for the following options:
Maximum Total User Count for this Organization is Unlimited checkbox.
Selected: The system maximum user count (the maximum number of users licensed) is unlimited . Default
Not selected: The following additional options become available
Maximum Total Users: Total number of users that can be created in the Organization.
Includes: Admins of all types, End Users, and Temporary Users.
Excludes: deleted End Users, Guest Users.
Value of 0 means do not set an organization level Maximum Total Users. Cannot exceed the system Maximum User Count.
Maximum End Users: Total number of End Users that can be created in the Organization.
Includes inactive End Users.
Excludes deleted End Users, Temporary Users, Guest Users, and Admins.
Value of 0 means do not set an organization level Maximum End Users. Cannot exceed the Maximum Total Users if that number is set to a value other than 0. Cannot exceed the system Maximum User Count.
Note: The sum of Maximum End Users and Maximum Temporary Users is allowed exceed the Total Maximum Users.
Maximum Temp Users: The total number of Temporary Users that can be created in the Organization.
Includes: inactive Temporary Users.
Excludes: deleted Temporary Users, Guest Users, End Users, and Admins (all types).
Value of 0 means do not set an organization level Maximum Temp Users. Cannot exceed the Maximum Total Users if that number is set to something other than 0.
Note: If the Maximum Total Users is set to 0, the Maximum Temp Users is allowed to exceed the system Maximum User Count (and will not be capped by the system Maximum User Count).
Click Change Maximum User Counts to apply changes.
