Reply to Packages

As a guest user recipient, you can reply to a package, sending a note and different files back to the sender. This works like sending an email with attachments.

  1. While viewing a package, click Reply (or Reply All if available). The Send a package page opens, with the original sender named at the top.

  2. Review the information, and optionally, enter your own Note.

The From field shows your email address.

The Subject field shows the original subject preceded by "Re:".

The Note field shows the note from the original package, with each line marked with the > character. You can add a note for the original sender.

If your organization allows it, an HTML rich text editor is available to users of Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Mozilla browsers with JavaScript enabled. You can change the font, size, alignment, and color of the note content, format lists, and include links.

You might also have a Check Spelling button available.

  3. Optionally add files. How you add files depends on whether you have enabled a wizard. See Configure the Upload/Download Wizard to learn about the benefits of using the wizard, and how to install and enable it or disable it if necessary.
  4. Select options for this package. These options might include any of the following fields:
  5. If an option has been locked by the administrator, the value appears, but you cannot change it.
  6. Click Send.

A package notification email is sent to the original sender.
