General Information

• To change general settings for a folder:
  1. In the left pane, click FOLDERS. In the list of folders, click the gear icon for the folder.
  2. In the General Information section, make changes and click Update Information.

Fields:

• Name.

  Rules for folder names::

  • Must be less than 256 characters long.
  • Cannot begin with the characters @ or !
  • Cannot use any of the following characters: \ / " < > !
  • Can use any characters in the ISO-Latin-1 (ISO/IEC 8859-1) except the disallowed characters listed above

  Note: Changing a folder name might cause certain external automated procedures to break if the automated client searches for specific folder names.

• Description. Optional description.

  Created. Read-only

  Last Changed. Read-only

  Target Folder. This field appears if the folder is a virtual folder. A user with administrative permissions can change this field.
