MOVEit Transfer includes in-browser controls for uploading and downloading (drag'n drop or browse and select) files and packages. These controls are often referred to as the JavaScript Wizard. Enable the JavaScript wizard from the WebUI from My Account - Edit Your Upload/Download Wizard Settings.
The JavaScript Wizard is the primary upload/download client, available from major web browsers (including Microsoft Edge) and requires no installation, but you must enable it before you use it for the first time.
The JavaScript Wizard is the primary upload client for MOVEit Transfer. Enabling the JavaScript Wizard is best practice if you need to upload files or packages.
You can perform download integrity checks at time of download or later by way of the Recent Downloads page.
Unlike the ActiveX wizard which can perform download integrity checks automatically, you will need to perform an additional step (comparing the historic and actual file signatures) if you use the JavaScript wizard.
You do not need to enable the JavaScript Wizard for fresh installations of MOVEit Transfer when using non-Internet Explorer browsers. If upgrading from versions previous to version 8.3, the JavaScript Wizard must be enabled if you want to use it.
To enable the JavaScript Wizard, click My Account in the top banner. In the Edit Your Upload/Download Wizard Settings section, click Change Upload Wizard Status (JavaScript), and then click Enable the Wizard. Guest users can click Change Upload Wizard Status (JavaScript) directly from a package page.
The ActiveX and Java Wizard (deprecated), if enabled, are used in preference to the JavaScript Wizard.
Internet Explorer Users: If using Internet Explorer 10, you must disable the JavaScript Wizard. Internet Explorer users who want to use the JavaScript Wizard must first disable the ActiveX Wizard and then enable the JavaScript Wizard.
