Hardware Requirements

These requirements apply to the hardware platform where you install MOVEit Transfer.

Server Hardware Minimum Requirements

• Quad-core processor.
• 8GB RAM.
• 250GB or larger storage.

Typical Server Hardware Guidelines

Production systems benefit from additional resources, including:

• Fast multicore processors (quad-core or dual-quad-core server grade processors are common).
• At least 8GB RAM.
• Hard drive capacity of 1TB (SAS) is common.

  NOTE: MOVEit Transfer requires a dedicated server or hosted virtual machine. Do not install MOVEit Transfer on a machine that has other applications installed.
