The Home page for administrators contains the following additional sections. This information is organization-wide for admins, and system-wide for sysadmins.
Configuration Hints
Examples:
For a new organizations: "You currently do not have any user accounts. You MUST have user accounts in your organization so people can work with MOVEit Transfer" followed by the link Add Users.
For an existing organization: "You are within 10% of the maximum number of users for your organization. You should either remove unused user accounts or contact your system administrator to increase your maximum users" followed by the link Manage Users.
For an existing organization: "You are currently allowing administrative access from the console only. You should add additional addresses into your remote access policy to allow administrators to configure and transfer files with MOVEit Transfer from remote locations" followed by the link Edit Administrator Remote Access Rules.
To respond to a hint: Click the link. The page where you can perform the task opens.
Session Summary
Shows:
Number of active sessions by interface type
Number of unique users connected
Total number of current sessions
Active Sessions
To access the Active Sessions list: In the Session Summary section, click Session Manager. This section includes:
List of currently signed-on users, their IP address, interface type, and time of last event. For web farm systems, includes the node number.
For organization administrators - the list includes all signed-on users in the organization
For sysadmins, the list includes all signed-on users in the MOVEit Transfer system.
Last Event (Timeout) - Timeout lists how many minutes before the session expires, based on the timeout time minus the number of minutes the system has been inactive.
The list is limited to 1,000 active session entries.
To remove a session, click the X icon on that session's row. Confirm the removal.
To remove all sessions, at the bottom right of the list of sessions, click Remove All Sessions
Note: You can remove your own session. If this occurs, you are returned to the sign on page.
Locked Out Users List
Users who have too many failed login attempts in too short a timespan are locked out. The list includes the username, real name, time of lockout, and the lockout expiration setting (if configured).
For organization administrators, the list includes all signed-on users in the organization
For sysadmins: the list includes all signed-on users in the MOVEit Transfer system.
To unlock an account, click the lock icon on the row.
To unlock all users, at the bottom of the list, click Unlock All Users.
To delete an account, click the X in the row,
To set the lockout policy:
In the left pane, click SETTINGS. The Settings page opens.
In the Security Policies section, User Auth: row, click Lockouts. The Edit Username Lockout Policy page opens.
Select the settings and click Change Lockout Policy.
