Change Package Viewing Settings

Change Package Viewing Settings page enables the SysAdmin to configure two package access settings for administrators of the particular organization: Log Viewing and Package/attachment Viewing.

Administrator Package Access settings determine whether the administrators of an organization can view Ad Hoc Transfer log entries, packages, and files.

SysAdmin users can change these settings.

To access these settings:

1. Click ORGS. In the Licensed Organizations section, click the organization name.
2. In the Security Information section, on the line Administrator Package Access, click Change Setting.

   The Change Package Viewing Settings page displays.

3. Make selections in the following fields. To save changes, click Change Package View Settings.

   Show Ad Hoc Transfer Entries in Log View

   When enabled, Audit log entries related to Ad Hoc Transfer are shown in the main Logs page. Administrators can view all Ad Hoc Transfer related log entries in the organization.

   Select an option: Enabled, Disabled

   Allow Administrators to view user Ad Hoc Transfer packages and files.

   When enabled, this setting:

   • Allows administrators to view the mailboxes and packages for users under their control, and download any attachments associated with those packages.
   • Enables shared mailboxes for users.
   • Viewing a package or downloading an attachment produces an audit log entry that is visible to the user. No viewing or download limits are affected

   Select an option:

   • Disabled
   • Administrators may view user packages and files, but Group Admins may not
   • Administrators and Group Admins may view user packages and files.
