Change User Interface Settings

File/Folder and Ad Hoc UI settings specify the parts of the user interface that will be available to an organization's users.

These settings enable you to select feature access on an org-by-org basis.

These controls are available to you when:

• Your MOVEit Transfer system has the appropriate licensing.
• You are signed-on to MOVEit Transfer as the SysAdmin user.

• To set/change user interface settings:
  1. In the left pane, click ORGS.
  2. From the Organization Profile page, choose an entry from the Licensed Organizations table.
  3. In the Security Information section, find the File/Folder and Ad Hoc UI line and click the Change Setting link.
  4. Select a radio button to choose your setting(s) and click the Change User Interface Settings to apply your new setting.

     This setting...	Enables this feature...
     File/Folder Interface Only	User interface for the shared file access and workspace (filesystem) capability.
     File/Folder and Secure Folder Sharing Interface	User interface for the shared file access workspace (filesystem) capability and controls for Secure Folder Sharing to enable Admins to delegate folder sharing authority to regular users.
     Ad Hoc Package Interface Only	A package sharing interface used for sending secure messages and email attachments.
     Both File/Folder and Ad Hoc Interface	Shared file/folder access and secure packages (email attachment and message body)
     File folder, Ad Hoc, and Secure Folder sharing	Shared file/folder access, secure packages (email attachment and message body), and controls for Secure Folder Sharing to enable Admins to delegate folder sharing authority to regular users.
