Creating a new action

To create a new action in APM:

  1. Click the APM tab, then select Actions.
  2. Click Add Action. The Edit Action page appears.
  3. Select an action from the Action Type list.
  4. Enter the appropriate information:
    • Name. Enter a unique name for the action.
    • Description. (Optional) Enter additional information about the action.
  5. Enter or select the appropriate information into each of the action boxes applicable to the selected action type.
  6. Click Save.
