Using Application Settings: System

The System Application Settings page allows you to configure your WhatsUp Gold help preferences as well as the necessary passwords required to use JMX-supported monitors. You can also view current product license and plug-in information. To access the System Application Settings, click the settings icon (SettingsIcon) > Application Settings.

To set your preferred help source, select one of the following:

JMX Security

To set the SSL passwords for JMX-supported monitors, enter the following passwords, then click Save.

These passwords can be found in the following locations on the WhatsUp Gold server and any other machine with a remote poller installed:

Important: If changes are made to either the KeyStore or TrustStore passwords, the NmPoller processes on the local machine as well as on any machines with remote pollers installed must be restarted.

About

To view current license and plug-in information, click About WhatsUp Gold.... The About WhatsUp Gold dialog appears with the following information:

The About WhatsUp Gold dialog also displays the number of devices that are currently monitored in relation to the maximum number of licensed devices that are available. Additionally, the About WhatsUp Gold dialog lists each plug-in for which you are licensed and any other applicable information about the plug-in:
