Selecting computers
You can connect to another computer on which you have administrator rights in order to browse that computer's WMI or SNMP Performance counters.
- . Type the computer name or IP address of the computer to which you want to connect.
(The following options are not available when selecting an WMI counter.)
- . Type the computer name or IP address for which you want to set up a performance counter. Click browse () to select another device.
- . Select a credential from a list of Windows credentials (pulled from the Credentials Library). Click browse () to select, add, or edit credentials in the Credential Library dialog.
(The following options are not available when selecting a SNMP counter.)
- . Select valid SNMP credentials for this computer. Click browse () to select other credentials.
- . The amount of time (in seconds) you want the system to wait before failing the connection to the computer.
- . The number of times you want the computer to attempt to make the connection to the selected computer.
