Discovery Role Editor - Device Attributes tab
How to get here
- Open the Role Settings Editor:
- From the console main menu, select . The Discovery Console appears.
- Click . The Device Role Settings dialog appears.
- Select a role to edit, then click OR click . The Role Settings Editor appears.
- Select the tab(s) for which you want to edit or configure a device role.
Use this dialog to add or edit the specified Device Attributes for the device role you are defining. The Device Attributes lists information associated with a device, such as contact person, location, serial number, etc. You can also use attributes to categorize or tag devices with a label of your choice.
Select one of the following options to manage the Role Editor Device Attributes:
- . Click to create a new device attribute.
- . Click to change an existing web attribute.
- . Click to delete a device attribute.
