Top 10 Report

This collection of reports displays the top devices based on the criteria of each report section. Configure how you want this report to look by clicking the Configure link. This link takes you to the Configure Top 10 Reports page. Through this page, you can change the order of the reports, the number of items in each report, and which column the report appears in.

The following reports are available through this report:

Interface Utilization. Click the interface description to go to the Interface Report.
Traffic Volume. Click the interface description to go to the Interface Report.
Disk Free Space. Click the disk description to go to the Disk Utilization Report.
Disk Utilization. Click the disk description to go to the Disk Utilization Report.
CPU Utilization. Click the CPU description to go to the CPU Utilization Report.
Memory Utilization. Click the memory type description to go to the Memory Utilization Report.
Ping Response Time. This section is populated by the Group Ping Response Time Report.
Ping Packet Loss. This section is populated by the Group Ping Availability Report.

Viewing All Devices

At the top of each of the report windows, there is a link called All Devices. Click this link to see the individual report for all devices on your network, if you have a dynamic group configured called 'All Devices.' (The name is not case sensitive.) This dynamic group is configured by default when you install WhatsUp Gold.

Thresholds

Report percentages are displayed in colors that represent the CPU utilization thresholds:

Red. Above 90%
Yellow. Above 80%
Green. 80% or less

To edit these thresholds, open C:\Program Files\Ipswitch\WhatsUp\HTML\1033\NmConsole\
Utility\ReportStandardFunctions.inc and go to the GetProgressBar() function.

Printing

You can print a fully formatted report through your browser by clicking the print icon in the browser's toolbar, or selecting File > Print from the browser's menu.

Toolbar buttons

Use the following toolbar buttons to manage report exports, schedule report emails, and get application help.

Click this icon to add the current report to:

your Favorites list (available in full reports).
Tip: After selected, Favorite reports can be accessed from the Reports > Favorites folder of the WhatsUp section of the GO Menu.
export the report to a file (Text, Microsoft Excel, or PDF available in full reports and PDF available in workspace reports).
email a report as a PDF attachment.
schedule reports to be emailed.
