Problem Areas Reports

This page lists all of the Problem Area reports available for device groups and single devices. These reports are organized into System, Group, and Device categories.

System

• Action Log. This report is a record of all actions that WhatsUp Gold attempts to fire.
• General Error Log. This report is a record of error messages generated by WhatsUp Gold.
• Passive Monitor Log. This report shows all Passive Monitor errors reported by WhatsUp Gold.
• Performance Monitor Error Log. This report shows all Performance Monitor errors reported by WhatsUp Gold.
• SNMP Trap Log. This report shows all SNMP traps received by WhatsUp Gold.
• Syslog Entries. This report shows all Syslog messages WhatsUp Gold has received.
• Windows Event Log. This report lists Windows system events captures by WhatsUp Gold across all devices.

Group

• Active Monitor Availability. This report is used to compare the amount of time the active monitors on your devices have been accessible.
• Active Monitor Outage. This report is used to compare the amount of time the active monitors on your devices have been down.
• Health. This report shows a snapshot of the current status of devices on a group.
• State Change Acknowledgment. This report is used to acknowledge state changes in WhatsUp Gold.
• State Change Timeline. This report is shows a history of state changes for all devices in a group.
• Top 10. This report shows a collection of Top 10 reports.

Device

• Active Monitor Availability. This report shows when the active monitors on your device have been accessible.
• Performance Monitor Error Log. This report shows a record of Performance Monitor errors for a individual device.
• SNMP Trap Log. This report is a record of SNMP traps WhatsUp has received from a device.
• State Change Timeline. This report shows the state change history of all the monitors on a device.
• Syslog Entries. This report shows Syslog messages WhatsUp Gold has received from a device.
• Windows Event Log. This report shows the Windows system events captured by WhatsUp Gold from a device.
