Flow Interface Properties
How to get here
- From any workspace view or report in the web interface, select . The GO menu appears.
- Click the Flow Monitor icon. The Flow Monitor Home page appears.
- Right-click a Flow Monitor interface source, then select . The Flow Interface dialog appears.
The Flow Interface dialog displays the properties of the selected interface. You can choose from the following options:
- . Enter a name for the interface. This will allow the system to group traffic by interface.
- . Select this option to hide the selected interface from the Flow Monitor Home page and other menu options in Flow Monitor. This lets you display interfaces that are relevant to your bandwidth monitoring requirements.
: Although, after selecting this option the interface is not listed on the source list, Flow Monitor still collects data from the interface.
- . Select this option when a Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) device using NSEL (Netflow Secure Event Logging) is a Flow Monitor source and you wish to see addresses hidden by network address translation (NAT).
: The option will only appear on Cisco ASA devices sending data using NSEL.
- . Select this option to enable the and fields.
- /. Enter the upper and lower limit of the interface in bps (bits per second). Common interface speeds are:
- 1 Gbps = 1,000,000,000 bps
- 100 Mbps = 100,000,000 bps
- 10 Mbps = 10,000,000 bps
