System Reports

This page lists all of the reports that apply to the entire WhatsUp Gold system. These reports are grouped into two categories, Problem Areas and General.

Problem Areas

• Action Log. This report is a record of all actions that WhatsUp Gold attempts to fire.
• General Error Log. This report is a record of error messages generated by WhatsUp Gold.
• Passive Monitor Log. This report shows all Passive Monitor errors reported by WhatsUp Gold.
• Performance Monitor Error Log. This report shows all Performance Monitor errors reported by WhatsUp Gold.
• SNMP Trap Log. This report shows all SNMP traps received by WhatsUp Gold.
• Syslog Entries. This report shows all Syslog messages WhatsUp Gold has received.
• Windows Event Log. This report lists Windows system events captures by WhatsUp Gold across all devices.

General

Note: The Active Discovery log was replaced by Scheduled Discovery in the Discovery Console. For information about the when scheduled discoveries have run, see the Schedule Discoveries tab in the Discovery Console. For more information, see the Scheduled Discoveries tab help.

• Activity Log. This report shows configuration and application initialization messages generated by WhatsUp Gold.
• Home Workspace. This report links to your home workspace. Links to other workspaces are included as well.
• Recurring Action Log. This report lists the results of Recurring Actions.
• Recurring Report Log. This report shows the results of Recurring Report.
• Web User Activity Log. This reports details the actions performed by users of the web interface.
