Program Options - Passive Monitor Listeners
How to get herePassive Monitor Listeners are applications that listen for specific information being passed across your network, or events that occur on one of your devices, then notifies WhatsUp Gold when the information matches what it is listening for. Use this dialog to configure those servers according to your specific needs. For more information, see Using Passive Monitors.
WhatsUp Gold provides the following Passive Monitor Listeners:
- SNMP Trap. This listener monitors SNMP information being passed across your network.
- Syslog. This listener monitors a computers Syslog.
- Windows Event Log. This listener monitors the Windows Event Log.
