Performance monitors are the WhatsUp Gold feature responsible for gathering information about several performance components of the devices running on your network. The gathered data is then used to create reports that trend utilization and availability of these device components.

Additionally, you can create custom performance monitors to track specific SNMP or WMI performance counters.
Performance Monitors are configured in the Performance Monitor Library, and added to individual devices through a device's Properties. You can create global, or system-wide, WMI, SNMP, and Active Script Performance Monitors in the library, or create device-specific monitors in a device's Properties.
