Importing and Exporting System Scripts

To import a script file:

  1. Go to the System Script Library (SETTINGS menu > Configuration Management > System Script Library), then click Import.
  2. The Import Configuration Management System Script dialog displays.
  3. Click Browse. The Choose File to Upload dialog displays.
  4. Browse to the .xml file you want to import, then click Open.

    The script is added to the System Script Library.

    Note: If the .xml file that you are importing is identical to any existing templates stored in the library, the file does not import.

To export a template:

Note: You can only export user-defined system scripts. Configuration Management default scripts cannot be exported.

  1. Go to the System Script Library (SETTINGS menu > Configuration Management > System Script Library), then click Export.

    Export Configuration Management System Script dialog displays.

  2. Browse to the location on your directory where you want to export the .xml file.
  3. Click Save.

    A copy of the file is saved in the location you specified.
