Importing and Exporting Task Scripts

You can import scripts written outside of Configuration Management into Configuration Management to be used in tasks.

To import a custom script for use in a Configuration Management task:

  1. Click Import from the Task Script Library (SETTINGS menu > Configuration Management > Task Script Library).

    The Import Configuration Scripts dialog displays.

  2. Browse to the script file that you want to import.
  3. Click OK to import the selected script file.

To export a custom task script:

  1. Select the custom script you want to export, then click Export from the Task Script Library (SETTINGS menu > Configuration Management > Task Script Library).
  2. You can inspect and modify the script, share, and re-import at a later time.

Note: Configuration Management default scripts cannot be exported.
