Service

Service monitor determines if a service is running and issues state changes for the device, as needed.

Provide a unique name and description for the monitor, then configure the following:

  1. Select either WMI or SNMP as the Protocol to use to connect to the selected device.
  2. Click Browse to launch the Service Selection dialog.
  3. Browse to and select a target device, then select the service to monitor.
  4. Click Save to return to the monitor configuration dialog.
  5. Click Save.

You can also set the timeout and number of retries as well as enable Use in Rescan and/or Restart on failure, if desired.
