From the top menu, select Modules > Bandwidth Limits for Ad Hoc Transfer. The Bandwidth Limits for Ad Hoc Transfer page opens.
Select Create. The Create Bandwidth Limits for Ad Hoc Transfer page opens.
This page is used to create a new bandwidth limit for Ad Hoc transfers for all hosts. Bandwidth limits are used to govern the amount of bandwidth each Ad Hoc Transfer connection can consume.
Name. Enter a name for this rule. This name is for your reference only and can include up to 256 characters.
Limit. Specify the maximum amount of bandwidth, in kilobytes per second, you want to allow for the Ad Hoc Transfer users and groups selected below.
Users/Groups. This list contains all of the users and groups configured on all hosts. Select the checkboxes next to the users and groups to whom you want this rule to apply.
Bandwidth limits throttle the amount of bandwidth each user can consume per connection. If a user makes multiple connections simultaneously, each connection is allowed the maximum bandwidth.
