From the top menu, select Modules > Quota Limit Rules for Ad Hoc Transfer. The Quota Limit Rules for Ad Hoc Transfer page opens.
Click Create. The Create Quota Limit Rule for Ad Hoc Transfers page opens.
This page is used to create a new quota limit rule for Ad Hoc Transfer.
Name. Enter a name for this rule. This name is for your reference only and can contain up to 256 characters.
Do not allow uploads if:
Number of files in user's packages in 'package storage folder' and its subfolders exceeds ... files. When the user attempts an action that would cause the total number of files in the package storage folder (set in Modules > Ad Hoc Transfer Settings) to exceed the specified number, the action is not permitted. If you do not wish to limit the number of files in the package storage folder, enter 0.
Size of user's packages in 'package storage folder' exceeds ... kb/mb/gb. When the user attempts an action that would cause the total size of the files in the package storage folder (set in Modules > Ad Hoc Transfer Settings) to exceed the specified amount, the action is not permitted. If you do not wish to limit the size of the user's home folder, enter 0.
Users/Groups. This list contains all of the users and groups configured on all hosts. Select the checkboxes next to the users and groups to whom you want this rule to apply.
Rule Notifications. This section is used to select one or more notifications to send and to specify the criteria that trigger the notifications for this rule. Notifications can be triggered when any of the following actions succeed or fail: number of files is the package storage folder exceeds a specified number, size of the package storage folder exceeds a specified maximum.
Send notification when:
Number of files in user's packages in 'package storage folder' and its subfolders exceeds ... files. When the total number of files in the package storage folder (and its subfolders) grows larger than the specified number, any notifications attached to this rule are triggered.
Size of user's packages in 'package storage folder' exceeds. When the package storage folder grows larger than the specified maximum amount of disk space, any notifications attached to this rule are triggered.
Rule Notifications. This section is used to select one or more notifications to send and to specify the criteria that trigger the notifications for this rule. Notifications can be triggered when any of the following actions succeed or fail: upload, download, rename, delete, create folder.
Executable (optional). Enter the full path and file name of the program you want to run on the server when this rule is triggered.
Arguments (optional). Enter the arguments to pass to the executable, if necessary.
You can specify message notification variables as arguments to pass to the executable.
