Configure WMI Performance Monitor

Use this dialog to update the name and description of the performance monitor and to bring up the WMI Performance Counter tree.

Enter a Name and Description for the monitor, as it will appear in the Performance Monitor Library.
Click the Browse (...) button next to the Instance box to connect to the WMI Performance Counter tree.
Performance counter/Instance. Click the browse button next to this box to select a performance counter and instance for the monitor.
Collection interval. Enter how often you want data to be collected for the selected item or items. This number represents the number of minutes between each collection.
Timeout (sec). Enter how long to what for a response during data collection. If a device does not respond to the scan within this time, the scan continues on to the next IP address. The Timeout should be set to 3 seconds or greater.
