WhatsUp Gold sends a Windows popup message to the person or computer you identify here. You can enter a Windows user name on your network, or select a computer name from the pull-down list box.
Click Refresh to have WhatsUp Gold search your network for computers that you can select to be the target for the Winpopup message. Once the scan is complete, select the target from the pull-down list.
Click Test to send a test message to the target identified.
Note: Windows Alerter and Messenger services must be running for Winpop actions to work. If the Messenger service is stopped, the 'The message alias could not be found on the network' warning appears.
