Activation program fails to offer offline activation
How to force offline activation
The activation program for WhatsUp Gold usually detects if a connection cannot be made to the activation server and offers an option to activate using the offline method. However, in some cases, the program may fail to offer offline activation as an option.
To correct this, you can disable the network interface card (NIC) on your computer. Once the NIC is disabled, the activation application offers offline activation. Once the offline activation begins, you can enable the NIC again.
: Before you begin to use this workaround, make sure that the activation program is not running.
