Customizing IMail Anti-Virus Settings

There are many settings for IMail Anti-Virus Server that can be configured through the symcscan.cfg file located in C:\SYMCScan. Some of these settings include:

• the Bind address for IMail Anti-Virus Server
• the port number that IMail Anti-Virus Server runs on
• inserting a customized message in files that have been repaired
• the type of information to log
• the location of IMail Anti-Virus Server log files
• the list of file extensions to scan
