By default, Symantec™ LiveUpdate connects to the Symantec Web site to update the virus definitions every 2 hours. You can also use the Symantec™ Anti-Virus Scan Engine Web Administrator to manually update virus definition updates or schedule virus definition updates to a specified time interval.
