The IMail Client Apps was created for customers requiring installation of both the IMail Collaboration Client and the Instant Messaging Client. The IMail Collaboration Client must be installed on every computer that requires sharing and accessing data, such as contacts and calendars, with Microsoft Outlook. The Instant Messaging Client is also required to be installed on each computer to allow communication with others.
The IMail Client Apps folder is located at:
"C:\Program Files\Ipswitch\IMail\IMail Client Apps"
Note: The IMail Collaboration Client will only install if Microsoft Outlook is detected.
To control the installation of the IMail Collaboration Client or the Instant Messaging Client select the Custom Setup vs the Typical Setup.
Warning: The Client install will remove a feature that has been disabled if a previous installation is detected.
To install only the Ipswitch Instant Messaging Client locate the installer at:
"C:\Program Files\Ipswitch\IMail\IM Server\IMClientSetup.exe"
Important: Ipswitch recommends sharing this folder across your network for client efficiency.
