IMonitor
How to get here
- From the home page, click the > tab. The page appears.
The Monitor service provides several tools for monitoring the SMTP, POP3, and IMAP4 mail servers as well as other services on your IMail Server system. It lets you:
- Monitor IMail services (such as SMTP, POP3, IMAP4, LDAP, Syslog ) and disk space on the IMail Server system, and display the status of services. You can set up any monitored service to be automatically restarted.
- Configure a Web server to provide remote access via a Web browser to IMail Server functions (such as viewing service status, adding or deleting users, or changing a password).
- Define a Notification for the monitored services and have the monitor program send email to a user, or send notification to a pager, or beeper when a service is down.
- Monitor DNS, NNTP, WWW, and FTP services on either the local or a remote system. You can set up any monitored service to be automatically restarted.
After making any changes in the Monitor service, stop the service, wait 5-10 seconds, and restart the service. Any changes that you make are saved automatically as soon as you click the Stop/Start button.
