Quick shutoff: Disabling Ipswitch Analytics Exchange Transport Rule

After the Ipswitch Exchange Transport Rule is enabled, Exchange Incident Reports are placed into the Ipswitch Analytics Exchange Mailbox.  The volume of Exchange Incident Reports depends on your Exchange Transport Rule conditions and the volume of emails that match these conditions.  

To shut off this flow, disable the Ipswitch Analytics Transport Rule. If you have created multiple Ipswitch Analytics Transport Rules to supply multiple Ipswitch Analytics Exchange Mailboxes, disable all of them.

• Using the EAC to enable or disable a mail flow rule
  1. From the EAC, go to Mail flow > Rules.
  2. To disable a rule, clear the check box next to its name.
  3. To enable a disabled rule, select the check box next to its name.

• Using the Exchange Management Shell to disable a mail flow (transport) rule
  1. As Administrator, open the Exchange Management Shell.
  2. Execute the following Disable-TransportRule cmdlet:

     Disable-TransportRule "IpswitchAnalyticsTransportRule"

  3. To verify the Transport Rule is disabled, execute the following Get-TransportRule cmdlet:

     Get-TransportRule | Format-Table Name,State
