Note: MOVEit Automation 2020.1, or later, supports SharePoint Online. SharePoint on-premises is not supported.
To use a SharePoint host with MOVEit Automation, you must have a SharePoint Online account.
To authenticate using the App Access, you must create a SharePoint App for use with MOVEit Automation, with appropriate permissions. For more information, see Create SharePoint App
To access this dialog box: Select HOSTS > Add Host > SharePoint.
You can authenticate the SharePoint host using App Access or User Access.
When you create the host, you can set the following General properties. To set additional properties, edit the host. For more information, see SharePoint - Additional Properties.
Note: The host's properties page shows the configured settings for each property area. To view all possible settings, click Edit.

The prefix of the SharePoint site type. Select /sites/, /teams, or Other from the drop-down list. The Other options opens a text box where you can manually enter the name of the site. |

The name of the site on your SharePoint instance, if you are not using the default location. |

Client ID: The Client ID for your SharePoint App. Client Secret: The Client Secret for your SharePoint App. Realm ID: The unique logon space, or administrative boundary that uses one set of authentication servers to manage and deploy a single set of unique identifiers. Authentication against a realm provides access to resources from that realm alone. |
User Access |
Username: Username of a SharePoint instance user. Password: Password of a SharePoint instance user. |
Documentation Library |
The SharePoint document library provides a secure place to store files. The Document Library is applied to the sources and destinations of tasks using this SharePoint host. You must browse to the library. |

Note: SharePoint files and folders containing the following special characters cannot be downloaded in MOVEit Automation.
